Characteristics

Differs from C. arthrotricha: scales at base of stipe 7-8 x 1 mm, rigid, acuminate; lobes of pinnae, except basal ones, almost entire; rachis and costae of apical part of frond sometimes bearing multicellular hairs 1.5 mm long on lower surface, on upper surface septate hairs always 1 mm long; glands on costae in some cases rare.
