Characteristics

Herba biennis vel perennis, humilis, subcaespitosa, molliter pilosa, 15-20 cm alta. Caules breves, basi parum ramosi. Folia basin versus dense conferta, alterna, longe petiolata, bipinnatipartita, segmentis lineari-lanceolatis vel lanceolatis, acutis, basi dilatato-decurrentia, 3-5 cm longa, petiolo pilis albis sericeis unicellularibus dense obtecto. Pedunculi adscendentes vel rarius procumbentes, dense pilis albidis obtecti, 15-18 cm longi, sub capitulo paullo incrassati; involucri bracteae exteriores circiter 12, oblanceolatae vel lineares, acuminatae, pilosae, disci flores aequantes, interiores breviores, oblongae, obtusae. Radii flores flavi uniseriati, 8-12, ligulis oblongis, obtusissimis, 8-10 mm longis; achaenia obovata, margine hyalina, glabra; disci flores numerosi, limbo 4-lobo; achaenia subglabra vel parce pilosula.
