Flowerheads disciform, small, solitary on long, filiform, nearly nude peduncles; outer female florets in 1 row, corolla absent; disc florets bisexual, yellow, cream or white. Cypselas of outer female florets broadly winged, glandular, of disc florets margined, wingless.
