Characteristics

Much-branched shrublet to 50 cm. Leaves opposite, leaves linear-elliptic, margins horny distally, often with a thick, waxy bloom. Flowers in pedunculate, rounded clusters, tubular, yellowish green or whitish tinged pink, petals 3-5 mm long.

Like C. rupestris, but leaves linear-elliptic 20-30 x 2-4 mm and with horny margin only near apex, petals fused in lower 1.2 mm, with a subterminal appendage, yellow-green.
