Racemes 3–10 cm, long, subdensely to laxly 6–20-flowered, with other flowers developing in the axils below; bracts 3–6 mm long, linear-lanceolate to lanceolate; pedicel 2–5 mm long; bracteoles on the pedicel, setaceous, or obscure.
Leaves mostly 3-foliolate, uppermost sometimes 1-foliolate; leaflets 8–20 × 1–4 mm, linear-oblanceolate to oblanceolate, ± pointed, pilose beneath and generally thinly so above; petiole 1–4 mm long; stipules 0.
Erect annual 20–100 cm tall, usually with rather slender ascending branches; stem densely silvery silky pilose.
Calyx 5–7 mm long, silky tomentose; lobes triangular lanceolate, 2–2.5 times as long as the tube.
Pod sessile, 7–9 × 4.5–7 mm, ovoid-ellipsoid to ovoid-globose, densely silky pilose, 6–10-seeded.
Seeds 2.5–3 mm long, oblique-cordiform, smooth.
