Standard broadly elliptic-obovate to subcircular, yellow, finely lined red, silky tomentose outside but hairs rarely obscuring the surface completely; wings longer than the keel; keel 8–9 mm long, subangular, with a twisted beak slightly to strongly incurved at the tip.

Erect annual 20–100 cm tall, usually with rather slender ascending branches; stem densely silvery silky pilose.
Calyx 5–7 mm long, silky tomentose; lobes triangular lanceolate, 2–2.5 times as long as the tube.
Pod sessile, 7–9 × 4.5–7 mm, ovoid-ellipsoid to ovoid-globose, densely silky pilose, 6–10-seeded.
Seeds 2.5–3 mm long, oblique-cordiform, smooth.
