Standard elliptic to elliptic-obovate, yellow, sometimes lined brown, pubescent outside; wings slightly shorter than the keel; keel 4.5–5 mm long, angular, with a narrow twisted beak slightly incurved at the tip.

Racemes 2.5–12 cm long, laxly to subdensely 8–30-flowered, developing other flowers in the axils below; bract 1–3 mm long, linear-subulate; pedicel 2–4 mm long, sometimes with small setaceous bracteoles.
Leaves mostly 3-foliolate, upper ones 1-foliolate; leaflets 5–12 × 0.5–2 mm, linear-oblanceolate, glabrous to sparsely puberulous above, appressed puberulous beneath; petiole 0.5–4 mm long; stipules 0.
Erect annual 20–85 cm tall; branches numerous, slender, ascending, often most from near the base, with shorter flowering branches above, subdensely shortly pubescent.
Calyx 2.5–3 mm long, subappressed pubescent; upper lobes narrowly triangular, attenuate or slightly acuminate, 1.5–2.5 times as long as the tube.
Pod sessile, 3–4 × 2–3 mm, ovoid-globose, pubescent, 2-seeded.
