Small erect annual, up to 10–25 cm tall, soon developing relatively long spreading and weakly ascending branches particularly from near the base; branches very slender, puberulous at the tips, soon glabrescent.
Standard obovate or obovate-circular, yellow, usually veined purple; wings exceeding the keel; keel 3–3.5 mm long, rounded below the middle, with a narrow slightly incurved beak.
Racemes laxly few-flowered; rhachis very slender; bracts 0.5–1 mm long, linear-subulate; bracteoles inserted at the base of the calyx, very small.
Calyx 1.5–2 mm long, sparsely appressed puberulous; lobes triangular, slightly acuminate, slightly shorter than the tube.
Pod 10–14 × 4–5 mm, sessile, oblong, slightly tapered, thinly puberulous to glabrous, 12–14-seeded.
Seeds 1.5–2 mm long, oblique-cordiform, slightly rugulose, olive-green to brown.
