Standard obovate-circular, bright yellow, glabrous or nearly so; wings nearly as long as the keel; keel 6 mm long, angular, with a narrow twisted beak only slightly incurved at the tip.
Racemes 2–4 cm long, subumbellate with a few laxly inserted flowers below, 6–12-flowered; bracts 1–2 mm long, linear; pedicel 3–5 mm long, sometimes with setaceous bracteoles.
Erect branching annual 30–40 cm tall; branches ascending, slender, appressed puberulous, glabrescent.
Pod sessile, 5 × 3 mm, ovoid-ellipsoid or shortly oblong-ellipsoid, puberulous, 1–2-seeded.
Calyx 3–3.5 mm long, puberulous; lobes attenuate-triangular, twice as long as the tube.
Seeds 2 mm across, rounded-cordiform, smooth, arillate.
