Small annual, with prostrate radiating branches up to 15 cm. long.. Branches hirsute with mostly spreading hairs.. Leaves simple; blade ovate, 12–25 mm. long, 7–14 mm. wide, rather pointed, pilose on both surfaces; petiole 1–2 mm. long.. Stipules filiform, 2–3 mm. long.. Racemes with 1–4 flowers at the top of a relatively well-developed peduncle, 1–2 cm. long; bracts filiform, up to 3 mm. long; bracteoles inserted at the base of the calyx, similar to the bract.. Calyx becoming basally truncate and deflexed against the pedicel, 3·5–4 mm. long, thinly pilose; lobes acuminately triangular, ±as long as the tube.. Standard suborbicular, cream, strongly veined with purple and glabrous outside; wings longer than the keel; keel rounded, with a short blunt untwisted beak, 4–5 mm. long.. Pod sessile, ellipsoid, 8–10 mm. long, 4–5 mm. across, pilose, thin-walled, 8–10-seeded.. Seeds oblique-cordiform, 1·8–2 mm. long, slightly wrinkled, dull brown.
