Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets narrowly oblong or oblanceolate, up to 30–52 mm. long, 6–14 mm. wide, more rarely elliptic, up to 55 mm. long, 24 mm. wide, glabrous above, densely appressed pubescent or pilose beneath; petiole 14–35 mm. long.. Stipules oblong-falcate, up to 8–18 mm. long, 2·5–7 mm. wide, acuminate, markedly unequal-sided.. Racemes lax, up to 10 cm. long, ± 6–15-flowered; bracts subulate or linear, 3–9 mm. long, early caducous; bracteoles inserted on the upper part of the pedicel, filiform, 3·5–6·5 mm. long, caducous..
