Stipules linear, ± 1 mm. long, caducous.. Racemes up to 4–15 cm. long, with rather numerous fairly closely arranged flowers above; bracts lanceolate, 1–1·5 mm. long; bracteoles obliquely inserted at the base of the calyx, semi-ovate to suboblong-ovate, 4–6 mm. long, 2–3 mm. wide.. Calyx 5–7 mm. long, shortly pubescent; lobes acuminately triangular, ± as long as the tube..
