Calyx 3–3·5 mm. long, with the tube slightly protracted on the lower side, tomentose; upper lobes shortly oblong, abruptly contracted into an excentric apiculate tip, ± as long as the tube.. Standard obovate-orbicular, yellow, marked red, puberulous apically outside; wings shorter than the keel; keel bent at right-angles in the lower third, with a narrow slightly incurved twisted beak, 7–8 mm. long..
