Small annual, with a very short stem and relatively long radiating procumbent or slightly ascending branches from the base up to 10 cm. long.. Branches very slender, appressed puberulous.. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets obovate-orbicular, up to 10–14 mm. long, 8–13 mm. wide, rounded or retuse at the apex, glabrous or subglabrous above, appressed puberulous beneath; petiole up to 4–6(–12) mm. long.. Stipules absent.. Racemes subumbelliform, with ± 3–5(–8) flowers at the top of the slender peduncle, 3–6·5 cm. long; bracts filiform or subulate, up to 1 mm. long; bracteoles absent.. Calyx ± 3 mm. long, with the tube protracted on the lower side, appressed puberulous; upper lobes narrowly attenuate-triangular, longer than the tube.. Standard obovate, yellow, puberulous outside at least towards the apex and margin; wings shorter than the keel; keel bent at right-angles in the lowerthird, with a well-developed narrow twisted beak, 4–5 mm. long.. Pod sessile, narrow, practically cylindrical, a little broader towards the base, slightly curved along the upper suture, 7–9 mm. long, 3 mm. across, ± 12–16-seeded.. Seeds broadly cordiform, it 1 mm. long, without a prominent aril, smooth, ochre.
