Standard subcircular, pale greeny-yellow, pubescent medially or over the upper part outside; wings subequalling the keel; keel c. 6 mm long, half-round, scarcely beaked.
Perennial herb or suffrutex, with numerous slender branched stems ascending to 15–40 cm, densely subappressed to spreading hirsute.
Flowers 1–2, leaf-opposed near the ends of the branches, with or without a short peduncle; bracts 1.5–2 mm long, linear.
Pod subsessile, 18–20 × 6–8 mm, oblong-ellipsoid, pilose outside and on the suture inside, c. 6–8-seeded.
Calyx 5–8 mm long, hirsute; upper lobes narrowly oblong, pointed, 3–4 times as long as the tube.
Seeds 3 mm long, oblique-cordiform.
