Petiole (0.5–)1–4 cm. long, lightly or sparingly stellate-pubescent or almost glabrous; leaf-blade ovate to elliptic-ovate, (3–)5–10.5 cm. long, 2.5–6 cm. wide, somewhat acutely acuminate or sometimes subacute or obtuse, rounded or scarcely cordate, with 2 sessile discoid basal glands usually not visible from above, subentire or shallowly serrate, chartaceous, 5(–7)-nerved from the base, remaining lateral nerves 3–4 pairs, scarcely prominent above but slightly so beneath, distinctly and finely reticulate above and beneath in the mature state, the network slightly prominent, sparingly stellate-pubescent or subglabrous above and beneath.. Stipules lanceolate, 1 mm. long, stellate-pubescent, soon deciduous.. Racemes terminal, 5–10 cm. long; axis sparingly stellate-pubescent; bracts linear-elliptic, 1.5 mm. long, pubescent towards the apex.. Male flowers: pedicels 3–6 mm. long, lightly stellate-pubescent; sepals 5, ovate, 3 mm. long, 2.5 mm. wide, obtuse, glabrous without and within but puberulous towards the apex, green; petals 5, oblong-oblanceolate, 4 mm. long, 1.5 mm. wide, obtuse, glabrous without and within, pilose on the margins, pale yellow; disc composed of 5 free, rounded, thickened glands; stamens 16, filaments 3.5 mm. long, glabrous, anthers 1.2 mm. long; receptacle densely pilose.. Female flowers unknown.. Fruits subglobose-subtrilobed, 1.3–1.4 cm. long and 1.5 cm. wide in the dry state, sparingly adpressed stellate-pubescent, dark grey; manner of dehiscence unknown, but probably septicidal..
