Parasitic, twining herb. Stems medium to thick, yellowish. Flowers in clusters; pedicels as long as flowers. Calyx shorter than corolla tube; lobes triangular-ovate. Corolla campanulate-funnel-shaped; lobes triangular, spreading or reflexed, as long as tube. Stamens shorter than corolla lobes; filaments longer than anthers. Scales reaching stamens, oblong, fringes rather small, free at apex. Ovary globose; styles longer than ovary. Flowering time Aug.-Dec. Fruit a globose capsule, irregularly circumscissile near base. Seeds subglobose.
