Herbaceous vine; latex white. Leaves with petiole to 15 mm long; lamina herbaceous, lanceolate or ovate to elliptic, to 8.5 cm long, to 3 cm wide, cuneate at base, acute; secondary veins 6 or 7 each side of midrib; colleters 3 or 4. Inflorescence of 1–6 fascicles. Flowers 2–3 mm long, 7–8 mm diam.; pedicels 4–13 mm long. Sepals lanceolate to lanceolate-ovate. Corolla rotate, cream; lobes lanceolate to oblong, 3–4 mm long, 1.5–2 mm wide. Gynostegial corona of 5 free staminal lobes, cream; lobes c. 1.5 mm long, 1.25–1.5 mm wide, rectangular at base, rounded to irregularly shaped at apex. Follicles fusiform-ovoid, 6–9.5 cm long.
