Leaves usually 6–7, distichous, 7.5–13.5 × 1.2–2.3 cm, broadly ligulate, equally or unequally 2-lobed at the apex with lobes rounded; blades thick and leathery, olive-green, wrinkled when dry.
Inflorescences borne on the stem mostly below the leaves, but sometimes in leaf axils, 4–7 cm long, densely to c. 12-flowered.
Lip 7–10.5 × 3–4.5 mm, lanceolate, acuminate, the apex recurved; spur 2–3.3 cm long, tapering, straight or slightly incurved.
Flowers scented, creamy-white, the spur sometimes pinkish, or greenish towards the tip.
Stem woody, up to c. 30 cm long, covered with black-brown old leaf bases.
Column 1–1.5 mm long; rostellum 3–5 mm long; viscidium hyaline.
Dorsal sepal 9–9.5 × 3–4 mm; lateral sepals 11–12 × 2–3 mm.
Sepals and petals lanceolate, acute, the tips recurved.
Bracts 5–8 mm long, whitish in bud but turning brown.
