Leaf rounded, 10–80 × 10–50 mm, bright green to pale yellow green above, crystalline beneath. Flower stem 60–300 mm long, thin, wiry, 1–7-flowered. Flowers 12–14 mm long, pinkish green to reddish brown with a brownish labellum. Dorsal sepal erect, 12–15 × 2.5 mm, incurved. Lateral sepals projected forwards beneath labellum or spreading, 10–12 × 1 mm. Petals 10–12.5 × 1 mm, spreading or decurved. Labellum 12–15 × 5–6 mm, basal and median margins entire, apical margins toothed, apex blunt or shortly pointed.
Widespread and often locally common in coastal and inland areas, growing in beach scrub on coastal dunes in calcareous sand, heath, mallee heath, mallee shrubland and scrub on inland consolidated dunes over limestone, shrubland in red loam over limestone, open forest, woodland and sheoak groves in freely draining sandy soil and loam; also in shallow soil and litter in crevices on granite outcrops in W.A.
