Characteristics

Pseudobulbs spindle-shaped, 200–400 × 20–25 mm, base stalked, furrowed, yellowish or purplish. Leaves 2–4 per pseudobulb, 100–150 × 40–50 mm, dark green to yellowish, leathery. Racemes 150–250 mm long, stiffly erect, 5–10-flowered. Flowers 25–30 × 25–30 mm, pale green or greenish yellow with purple-brown stripes and spots. Sepals and petals broad, overlapping, widely spreading, fleshy. Dorsal sepal 8–10 × 7 mm. Lateral sepals 9–11 × 7–8 mm. Petals 8–10 × 4 mm. Labellum c. 12 × 8 mm; lateral lobes triangular, erect; midlobe decurved, with deeply grooved warty ridge, middle constricted, apex notched.
