Characteristics

Pseudobulbs crowded, erect, stubby, conical, 5–50 × 4–8 mm, yellowish green, ribbed. Leaves 2–5, ovate to elliptic, 10–20 × 5–10 mm, dark green, thin-textured. Racemes 10–25 mm long, 2–3-flowered. Flowers on thick ovaries, hardly opening, 4–7 mm long, cream to whitish, lacking external blotches. Sepals and petals hardly spreading, moderately thick and fleshy. Sepals all similar, elliptic. Petals narrower than sepals. Labellum petal-like, unlobed, oblong, c. 6 × 1.5 mm, curved. [See also Green (1994: 538–539).]
