Characteristics

Pseudobulbs cylindrical, 400–600 × 4–7 mm, yellowish green, ribbed. Leaves 3–7, 70–130 × 20–40 mm, dark green, thin-textured, unequally notched. Racemes 50–100 mm long, 5–30-flowered. Flowers 10–13 × 10–13 mm, often drooping, dull yellow or greenish inside, externally with large reddish brown blotches (rarely lacking blotches). Sepals and petals spreading to incurved, moderately thick and fleshy. Dorsal sepal 7–10 × 3–4 mm. Lateral sepals 7–10 × 3–4 mm. Petals 7–10 × 2 mm. Labellum 7–8 × 5–6 mm; lateral lobes erect; midlobe kidney-shaped, with 3 ridges.
