Characteristics

Pseudobulbs crowded, cylindrical, 150–350 × 8–11 mm, yellowish green, ribbed. Leaves 3–6, 70–150 × 10–25 mm, dark green, thin-textured. Racemes 50–100 mm long, 5–10-flowered. Flowers on thick ovaries, 8–10 mm diameter, greenish to yellowish or creamy yellow, lacking external blotches. Sepals and petals not widely spreading, moderately thick and fleshy. Dorsal sepal c. 10 × 4 mm. Lateral sepals c. 10 × 4 mm. Petals c. 10 × 2 mm. Labellum petal-like, unlobed, oblong, c. 10 × 2 mm, curved. Unusually for the genus, in this species the anther covers the stigma.
