Perennial or sometimes annual herb; roots fibrous. Stems procumbent, mat-forming or scrambling, up to 0.4 m long. Leaves all opposite; blade peltate to broadly ovate, apex obtuse, base subreniform or subtruncate, margins ± strongly dentate; petioles ± 30 mm long, longhaired. Flowers: axillary; spur long and narrow, 2.5-3.0 mm long; corolla white or cream-coloured to pale pink or mauve-purple speckled, palate yellow; Jan.-Dec.
