Characteristics

A medium sized tree. It grows 12-40 m high. The trunk is 45 cm across. The bark is thin and black. The leaves are oblong and taper to the base and have a blunt tip at the end. The flowers are 1.5 cm across and there are 2-3 flowers in a cluster. The fruit are round berries 4-5 cm across. They are green but yellow when ripe. They contain about 7 seeds. These are brown.
