Characteristics

Plants straight or subflexuose; basal leaves spreading, narrowly obovate, apiculate, 10-20 x 5-10 mm, cauline leaves lanceolate. Inflorescences 1-7-flowered. Flowers pink, lip tooth greenish to purple, mesochile with purple spots on the upper surface, apex of the petals often darker. Median sepal shallowly galeate, narrowly obovate to narrowly oblong, acute, rarely obtuse, 10-15 x 3-6 mm; spur usually upcurved, tapering towards the apex, (7.5-) 10-13 mm long and 1-2 mm in diameter; lateral sepals narrowly oblong, acute, 10-14 x 2.5-5 mm. Petals lorate, 7-8 mm long, basal anticous lobe reduced to a fold, apex usually unequally bifid, acute. Lip 10-17 mm long, apical tooth pendent, filiform, 4-8 mm long, mesochile 3-4 mm wide. Lateral rostellum lobes horn-like.
