Characteristics

Plant 180 mm tall; leaves 5, lax, all cauline, shortly sheathing, erect, linear-lorate, finely acuminate, the lowest 60 x 10 mm. Inflorescence a subdense spike, 70 x 20 mm, with c. 15 flowers; bracts 10-20 x 3-6 mm, as tall as the flowers, lanceolate, acute, green; ovaries plus pedicels c. 10 mm long. Flowers: Median sepal lime-green with purplish veins, spur purplish, lateral sepals and lip white, margins purple, petals white with purple apices, stigma green. Median sepals deeply galeate, 5x4 mm, acuminate; spur slightly de-curved, obscurely subclavate, emarginate, 3.5 x 2 mm; laterals spreading, almost flat, elliptic-lanceolate, acute, 6x3 mm. Petals obscurely biªlobed; linear-lorate, first reflexed next to the anªther then curved up behind it, truncate-hooked, 4.5 x 1 mm, anterior lobe hemispherical. Lip linªear-lorate, acute, 3.5 x 1 mm. Gynostemium squat; stigma hemispherical, horizontal, on a 0.6 mm long pedicel, front margin raised; rostellum erect, 1 mm tall, lateral lobes square, central lobe very small.
