Characteristics

Plants slender, c. 400 mm tall; leaves cauline, semi-erect, subimbricate, grading into the floral bracts. Inflorescences dense, 150 mm long; bracts as tall as the flowers, at the inflorescence base overtopping them Flowers facing down, salmon-coloured. Median sepal galeate, galea 5.5 x 4 mm deep; spur ascending to erect, somewhat curved, slender cylindrical, 7 mm long, apex strongly clavate; lateral sepals spreading, narrowly oblong, subacute, 6 x 2.8 mm. Petals erect, narrowly lorate, acute, 6 x 1 mm. Lip narrowly lorate, acute, 4.5 x 0.5 mm. Anther reflexed; stigma shortly pedicellate, tripulvinate; lateral rostellum lobes erect, canaliculate.
