Characteristics

Plants 600 mm tall; radical leaves not known, cauline leaves closely sheathing, subimbricate, dry, 40-50 mm long. Inflorescences lax, 25-flowered; bracts as long as the ovaries, dry. Flowers greenish yellow. Median sepal acute, galea broadly ovate, c. 13 mm tall x 6 mm deep; spur slender cylindrical, straight, 3-4 mm long, bifid. Petals with a small orbicular basal anticous lobe, decurrent with limb, 2 mm in diameter, limb lorate, geniculately curved up through 90° behind the anther, c. 10 mm long, apex unequally bifid, lobes acute, anterior lobe longer than the posterior. Lip lanceolate, acute, margins entire, c. 10 mm long. Anther reflexed; stigma pulvinate; rostellum erect, trifid.
