Characteristics

Plants to 600 mm tall; basal leaves lorate and up to 200 mm long, dry at flowering. Inflorescences lax and few-flowered. Flowers cream, with purple streaks on the petals and purple dots on the galea and the lip. Median sepal flat but galeate at the base, 15-25 mm long; spur slender, 35-55 mm long; lateral sepals 15-20 mm long. Petals small, lorate, 8-12 mm long, included in the median sepal, with basal anticous lobe and apical posterior lobe. Lip narrowly lanceolate. Anther semi-pendent, about 3 mm long; stigma pad c. 2 mm high; rostellum triangular, erect.
