Characteristics

Plants slender, 40-150 mm tall; radical leaves usually 6, petioles white or hyaline, blades narrowly oblanceolate, apiculate, up to 15 mm long, cauline leaves subimbricate, sheathing the stem, apices free, narrowly lanceolate to linear, grading into the radical leaves and the floral bracts. Inflorescences corymbose, up to 10-flowered; bracts somewhat longer than the ovaries and enclosing them basally. Flowers not resupinate, sepals cream, petals and lip yellow from white bases. Median sepal erect, galeate, trilobed, 4-5 mm tall; spur obsolete; lateral sepals erect, oblique, oblong, concave, 6-7 mm long. Petals flanking the anther, apices curved over it, oblique, oblong, broadly fused to the rostellum basally. Lip patent, linear, c. 2 mm long. Anther horizontal; stigma sessile, equally tripulvinate, flat; lateral rostellum lobes oblong with a notch between them, central lobe reduced, fleshy.
