Characteristics

Plants robust, 250-600 mm tall; leaves linear-lanceolate, acute, conduplicate, falcately erect, longest at the base, 140-200 x 20 mm. Inflorescences cylindrical, 50-300 mm long and 30-40 mm in diameter, flowers subimbricate; bracts as long as the flowers, acuminate. Flowers with lime-green sepals, often mottled or suffused maroon, petals lime-green. Median sepal shallowly galeate, oblong, obtuse, 9-11 mm tall; spur clavate, rounded, 7-9 x 3-6 mm, adpressed to the ovary; lateral sepals reflexed, oblong, obtuse to rarely acute, 7-10 mm long. Petals obliquely narrowly ovate-oblong, bluntly acuminate or retuse, 7-9 mm long. Lip lorate to narrowly oblanceolate, rounded, 7-10 mm long. Anther semi-pendent, 2 mm long; stigma 1 mm tall; rostellum 2 mm tall.
