Characteristics

Inflorescences subdense, rarely lax, 100-280 mm long; bracts dry, about as long as the ovaries. Flowers rose-pink, parts spreading forward to form a pseudo-tube. Median sepal angled forwards, narrowly obovate, acute, shallowly galeate, 20-30 mm long; spur horizontal, at length decurved, slender, terete, acute, 10-20 mm long; lateral seªpals spreading forwards with somewhat reflexed apices, narrowly oblong to oblong, acute, 20-30 mm long. Petals erect next to the rostellum, lanceolate to oblanceolate, acute, subfalcate baªsally, 10-15 mm long, with a small basal anticous lobe c. 2 mm in diameter flanking the stigma. Lip patent, lanceolate, acute, 20-30 mm long. Anther subpendent, 2.5 mm long; stigma horizontal; latªeral rostellum lobes square, a small notch between them, central lobe fleshy.
