More
Plants slender, 150-300 (-600) mm tall; sterile shoot slender, up to 50 mm long, probably only fully developed towards fruiting, basal sheaths usually 2, outer hyaline, inner green apically; leaves 2-3, petiolate, flat or shallowly condupli-cate, cauline leaves usually imbricate, lower 2 basal sheaths hyaline, basal leaves rarely petiolate.Inflorescences lax, 3-8 (-12)-flowered; bracts usually overtopping the flowers. Flowers medium-sized, c. 20 mm in diameter, white to cream, sometimes mottled pink, spur greenish; scent sweet. Median sepal with rudimentary apiculus, galea 12-17 x c. 12 x 4-5 mm deep; spur cylindriªcal, slender, gradually decurved, 20-40 mm long; lateral sepals patent, shallowly concave, ovate-oblong, 10-15 x 5-8 mm, apiculi c. 1 mm long. Petals erect, flanking the rostellum and either curved over it or exserted from galea, 10-15 x 4-6 mm. Lip narrowly elliptic, acute, apically decurªved, 10-15 x 2-4 mm. Anther horizontal; stigma stipitate, equally tripulvinate, angled forwards at 30°; lateral rostellum lobes well-developed, canaªliculate.
