Characteristics

Plants slender, 300-500 mm tall; radical leaves subconduplicate, narrowly lanceolate, up to 60 mm long, cauline leaves lax, often completely sheathing, narrowly lanceolate. Inflorescences lax, 2-6-flowered; bracts as long as and enclosing the ovaries. Flowers pale pink with darker veins, petals and lip paler, petals with horizontal bars. Median sepal erect, narrowly obovate, obtuse to acute, shallowly concave, margins often reflexed, (12-) 16-18 mm tall; spur subobsolete, conical, rounded, laterally flattened; lateral sepals patent, apices more or less reflexed, narrowly oblong, obtuse, 12-23 mm long. Petals parallel to the anªther, apex curved over it, obliquely narrowly obªovate rhomboid, acute, c. 8 mm long. Lip linear, 7 mm long. Anther horizontal; stigma sessile, equally tripulvinate; rostellum erect, lateral lobes horn-like, canaliculate, central lobe reflexed.
