Characteristics

Plants 80-220 (-250) mm; leaves 2, cauline, alternate, suberect, linear-lanceolate, acute, 25-90 (-130) x 1.5-6 mm. Inflorescences 2-8 (-11)-flowered, secund; bracts ovate to lanceolate, acute, normally 9-30 x 5-7 mm. Flowers greenish-yellow or white and green, with darker green spots on the petals within; ovary ovoid, 6-10 mm long. Median sepal ovate, with a hood ascending at c. 45°, 4-6 x 4-5 mm, 1.5-8 mm deep; lateral sepals horizontal, recurved at the tips, obovate, 7-11 x 2.5-4.5 mm, spurs 1.5-2 mm long. Petals adnate to the median sepal, curved, falcate, clawed, ovate, apiculate, with a small basal auricle, 4-6 x 2-3 mm. Lip basally fused to the gynostemium; claw oblong, c. 5 mm long; blade boat-shaped, apex recurved, with fleshy tubercles within, c. 3 mm long; appendage projecting backwards, lin-ear-conduplicate, tip papillate, 2.5-4 mm long. Anther reflexed, flattened; stigma dorsal, cordate; rostellum arms curled through 360°, 1-4 mm long.
