Characteristics

Plants 150-350 mm; leaves 3, cauline, alternate, narrowly ovate, acute, (10-) 15-32 x 4-9 mm. Inflorescences (1-) 2-5-flowered; bracts ovate, acute, 10-17 x 5-6 mm. Flowers pale magenta or white, petals spotted with green within; ovary cyªlindrical, 10-15 mm long. Median sepal ovate, with a sac-like hood 3-4 mm deep, 4-5 x 3 mm; lateral sepals ovate, acuminate, with a triangular auricle, 6-7 x 2.5-3 mm, spurs 2-2.5 mm long. Petals adnate to the median sepal, curved, clawed, oblong, acute, 3-5 x 1.5-2 mm. Lip basally fused to the gynostemium; claw 1.75 mm long; blade upcurved, boat-shaped, flanged along the sides, acute tip reflexed and adhering to the tips of the petals and median sepal, 4.5 mm long; appendage finger-like, obtuse, pubescent, 1 mm long. Anther horizontal; stigma dorsal, bilobed, lobes divergªing; rostellum arms projecting, scarcely twisted at the tips, 3-4 mm long.
