Characteristics

Plants 160-330 mm; leaves 2-4, cauline, alternate, ovate, acute, 10-35 x 4-8 mm. Inflorescences 2-4 (-5)-flowered; bracts ovate, 12-27 x 5-8 mm. Flowers: sepals pinkish, petals cream with green spots; ovary cylindrical, 12-20 mm long; scent pungent. Median sepal lanceolate, acuminate, 4-5 mm deep, 12-13 (-14) x 4-5 mm; lateral sepals at first ascending then sharply bent, sigmoid-lanceolate, acuminate, sparsely pubescent at the base, 14-17 x 4.5-7 mm, spurs 3 mm long. Petals adnate to the median sepal, curved, falcate, clawed, glabrous, acuminate, 8-10 x 2.5-4 mm. Lip basally fused to the gynostemium; claw linªear, 5 mm long; blade patent, conduplicate then flaring and shallowly funnel-shaped, apiculate, 8 mm long; appendage ovate, with decurved lateral flanges in the basal 2h, 4 mm long. Anther horiªzontal; stigma dorsal, bilobed; rostellum arms projecting, flexed upwards in the outer third, 3.5 mm long.
