Characteristics

Plants 90-280 mm; leaf 1, basal, ovate, margins pellucid, 19-40 x 14-26 mm. Inflorescences secund, 4-13-flowered; bracts rotund, margins pellucid, 6-12 x 6-15 (-20) mm. Flowers dirty cream to cinnamon coloured, base of lip maroon, petals with maroon spots within; ovary ovoid, twisted, 8 mm long. Median sepal ovate, acute, 4-5 x 3-4 mm, produced into a slightly decurved sac-like spur 1-2 mm long; lateral sepals ovate, acute, pubescent at the base, 6.5-8 x 3.5-4 mm, spurs 1.5-2 mm long. Petals adnate to the median sepal, flared in the basal half, clawed, blade oblong, obtuse, 7 x 3.5 mm. Lip basally fused to the gynostemium; claw linear, auriculate, 4.5 mm long; blade ovate, 2 mm long; appendage triangular, apex pubescent, 2 mm long. Anther reflexed; stigma lobes dorsal; rostellum arms sub-erect, twisted, 2 mm long.
