Characteristics

Plants 140-230 mm; leaves 3-4, cauline, alternate, narrowly ovate to lanceolate, acute, usually 20-35 x 8-12 mm. Inflorescences secund, normally 5-8-flowered; bracts ovate, acute, 9-27 x 4-11 mm. Flowers: sepals pink, cream at the base, petals cream, spotted with green within; ovary cylindrical, 11-13 mm long. Median sepal broadly elliptic, mostly 8 x 7 mm, with a hood 9 mm deep; lateral sepals spreading, obliquely obovate, acuminate, (7-) 10-12 x 4-5 mm, spurs to 2 mm long. Petals adnate to the median sepal, falcate, clawed, oblong-ovate, acute, 5-6 x 3-4 mm. Lip basally fused to the gynostemium; claw erect, 3 mm long; blade horizontal, elliptic, verrucose, margins revolute, apex recurved and erect, adhering to the petals and median sepal, triangular, 5-7 x 2-3 mm; appendage horizontal, 10 mm long. Anther horizontal; stigma dorsal, bilobed, lobes diverging; rostellum arms projecting, twisted at the tips, 3.5 mm long.
