Terrestrial herb, 0.10-0.26 m high. Leaves 2, cauline, alternate, ovate, purple beneath, 15-45 x 6-33 mm. Inflorescence 1-3-flowered; bracts ovate, 6-12 x 4-7 mm. Flowers white or lilac petals with green spots. Sepals: median sepal lanceolate, acuminate, pubescent, 7-9 x 3 mm; lateral sepals slightly descending, then sharply deflexed, ovate, acuminate, pubescent at base, 6-8 x 3.0-4.5 mm; spurs incurved 2-3 mm long. Petals adnate to median sepal, falcate, clawed, pubescent, rotund, acuminate, 6-7 x 4-5 mm. Lip basally fused to gynostemium, clawed, blade decurved, ovate, acute, 1.5 mm long, appendage oblong, concave, 1 mm long. Flowering time Nov., Dec.
Leaves 2, alternate, the lower much larger than the upper; lower leaf 3–5 × 2–3 cm, ovate, cordate at the base, often marbled with white on the upper surface, dark purple beneath.
Terrestrial herb, up to 250 mm tall. Hood of dorsal sepal shallow and rounded. Petals heavily marked with green spots and with a crenulate outer margin. Flowers white or pink.
Tuberous geophyte to 25 cm. Leaves 2, spreading, cordate. Flowers 1-3, white or lilac, lip limb deflexed, ovate, rostellum arms porrect with inflexed tips.
Lip narrowly unguiculate; limb c. 2 mm long, ovate, acuminate, reflexed; appendage erect, linear, slightly curved at the apex, almost as long as the limb.
Petals 7–8 mm long with green tubercles on the upper half, shortly clawed, obliquely ovate with a crenulate outer margin, acuminate.
Lateral sepals free, 6–8 mm long, obliquely ovate, acuminate or apiculate, each with a curved, saccate spur 2 mm long.
Dorsal sepal 7–8 mm long, acuminate, erect then bent over, joined with the petals to form an open hood c. 8 mm wide.
Inflorescence 1–3-flowered; flowers white or purple-pink with green spots, almost always erect.
Terrestrial herb 14–27 cm tall; tubers 15–20 mm long, obovoid, woolly.
Rostellum almost orbicular; arms c. 4 mm long, dilated at the apex.
Bracts leaf-like, 9–11 mm long.
Ovary c. 15 mm long.
