Terrestrial herb, 0.10-0.26 m high. Leaves 2, cauline, alternate, ovate, purple beneath, 15-45 x 6-33 mm. Inflorescence 1-3-flowered; bracts ovate, 6-12 x 4-7 mm. Flowers white or lilac petals with green spots. Sepals: median sepal lanceolate, acuminate, pubescent, 7-9 x 3 mm; lateral sepals slightly descending, then sharply deflexed, ovate, acuminate, pubescent at base, 6-8 x 3.0-4.5 mm; spurs incurved 2-3 mm long. Petals adnate to median sepal, falcate, clawed, pubescent, rotund, acuminate, 6-7 x 4-5 mm. Leaves 2, alternate, the lower much larger than the upper; lower leaf 3–5 × 2–3 cm, ovate, cordate at the base, often marbled with white on the upper surface, dark purple beneath.
Terrestrial herb, up to 250 mm tall. Hood of dorsal sepal shallow and rounded. Petals heavily marked with green spots and with a crenulate outer margin. Flowers white or pink.
Tuberous geophyte to 25 cm. Leaves 2, spreading, cordate. Flowers 1-3, white or lilac, lip limb deflexed, ovate, rostellum arms porrect with inflexed tips.
Lip narrowly unguiculate; limb c. 2 mm long, ovate, acuminate, reflexed; appendage erect, linear, slightly curved at the apex, almost as long as the limb.
