Characteristics

Alternate, ovate, acute, mostly 11-20 x 5-7 mm. Inflorescences 1-4-flowered; bracts ovate, acute, 14-22 (-26) x 7-10 mm. Flowers white, petals spotted green within; ovary cylindrical, 10-15 mm long. Median sepal ovate, with a bell-shaped hood 4-5 mm deep, 6-8 x 5-7 mm; lateral sepals elliptic, acuminate, 9-11 x 4-5 mm, spurs 1.5-2.5 mm long. Petals adnate to the median sepal, curved, falcate, clawed, rotund, 6-8 x 4-6 mm. Lip basally fused to the gynostemium; claw 2 mm long; blade upcurved, boat-shaped, flanged along the sides, reflexed at the tip into an acute triangular prow adhering to the tips of the petals and median sepal, 9 mm long; appendage obtuse, conduplicate, pubescent, 2 mm long. Anther horizontal; stigma dorsal, bilobed, lobes diverging; rostellum arms sharply deflexed and geniculate, 5 mm long.
