Characteristics

Leaves 1–3, 100–300 × 2–3 mm, folded. Flower stem 150–400 mm, 2–7-flowered. Flowers fragrant, 20–25 mm across, white, lightly spotted, lined or suffused with lilac or mauve, labellum with darker markings, callus area white. Dorsal sepal erect or often recurved, 13–17 × 6–9 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely deflexed or lax, 30–50 × 2–3 mm, green. Petals usually recurved or reflexed, blades often splayed outwards; stalk 4–6 mm long, dark; blade elliptical, 15–22 × 6–9 mm, distinct from stalk. Labellum 10–14 mm long; lateral lobes 3–4 × 1–2 mm; midlobe broadly fan-shaped, with a relatively long narrow basal neck, 7–10 × 7–11 mm, usually folded. Callus ridges 2, 5–6 mm long.
