Characteristics

Leaves 2, 150–500 × 2–6 mm, folded. Flower stem 150–500 mm, 1–9-flowered. Flowers 20–30 mm across, mauve to light purple, labellum darker. Dorsal sepal obliquely erect, 10–18 × 7–11 mm. Lateral sepals deflexed, 15–40 × 2–3 mm, greenish. Petals obliquely erect to recurved; stalk 3–6 mm long, blackish; blade 10–17 × 6–10 mm, elliptical to ovate or obovate. Labellum 10–14 mm long; lateral lobes 2.5–5 × 1–2 mm; midlobe wedge-shaped, 8–12 × 7–11 mm, margins crinkled. Callus ridges 2, 3–4 mm long, purple, central area yellow.
