Characteristics

Leaves 2, curved, c. 120 × 10 mm, folded. Flower stem c. 220 mm tall, shallowly zigzagged, with six prominent stem bracts, upper four distinctly curved around flower stem, 2–4-flowered. Flowers porrect or semi-nodding, c. 15 mm across, yellow with black markings. Dorsal sepal obliquely erect, ovate, c. 8 × 6 mm, base black. Lateral sepals deflexed, crossed, c. 9 × 1.5 mm, base black, apex green. Petals obliquely erect; stalk 4–5 mm long, black; blade elliptic, 6–7 × 4 mm, yellow. Labellum 5–6 mm long; lateral lobes c. 3.5 × 1.5 mm, yellow with dark blotch, margins wavy; midlobe diamond-shaped, c. 4 × 3 mm, yellow with dark markings. Callus ridges 2, incurved, with dark markings.
