Leaves 2, 100–350 × 4–8 mm, folded. Flower stem 150–300 mm, 2–7-flowered. Flowers 18–20 mm across, deep golden to orange with dark brown markings on dorsal sepal and labellum. Dorsal sepal erect, 7–9 × 6–7 mm, with two dark blotches. Lateral sepals obliquely deflexed, tips often curved forwards, 12–18 × 2–4 mm, broadest near tips. Petals obliquely erect or recurved; stalk 4–7 mm long, brown; blade ovate to rounded, 6–8 × 6–8 mm. Labellum 7–9 mm long; lateral lobes 3–4 × 2.5–3 mm; midlobe convex, margins downcurved, 5–7 × 4–6 mm, wedge-shaped when flattened. Callus ridges 2, 3–4 mm long, thick, divergent.
