Characteristics

Leaves 2 or 3, 100–150 × 5–10 mm, folded. Flower stem 150–300 mm, 1–4-flowered. Flowers 20–25 mm across, yellow with red-brown and purple markings; petals and dorsal sepal yellow, labellum lateral lobes yellow with brownish tips, midlobe yellow with red-brown and purple markings. Dorsal sepal erect, 7–10 × 12–15 mm. Lateral sepals deflexed, crossed, slightly recurved, 13–18 × 2.5–3 mm. Petals obliquely erect to recurved; stalk 3–4 mm long, curved, brownish; blade broadly elliptic to orbicular, 12–16 × 9–13 mm. Labellum 7–10 mm long; lateral lobes 7–9 × 4–6 mm; midlobe convex, margins sharply downcurved, broadly wedge-shaped when flattened, 7–9 × 7–9 mm. Callus ridge 1, 3–4 mm long, yellow surrounded by red-brown or purple.
