Characteristics

Leaves 2 or 3, 150–300 × 4–7 mm, folded. Flower stem 150–350 mm, 1–7-flowered. Flowers 10–15 mm across, pale yellow with light brown to red-brown markings; petals mainly pale yellow, dorsal sepal and labellum lateral lobes suffused with red-brown, midlobe heavily marked with brown or red-brown. Dorsal sepal recurved, 6–8 × 7–9 mm. Lateral sepals deflexed, crossed, strongly recurved, 10–14 × 2–3 mm. Petals obliquely erect; stalk 3–4.5 mm long, curved, brownish; blade broadly elliptic to orbicular, 8–14 × 5–8 mm. Labellum 5–7 mm long; lateral lobes 4–7 × 3–4 mm; midlobe convex, margins sharply downcurved, wedge-shaped when flattened, 5–6 × 6–7 mm. Callus ridge 1, 3–4 mm long, yellow with brown to red flanking marks.
