Characteristics

Leaves 1 or 2, 100–200 × 5–8 mm, folded. Flower stem 200–300 mm, 1–6-flowered. Flowers 10–15 mm across, pale yellow to bright yellow suffused with dark burgundy red; petals yellow; dorsal sepal yellow lightly stained with brown; labellum lobes marked with dark red. Dorsal sepal recurved, 7–9 × 7–10 mm. Lateral sepals deflexed and strongly recurved, 9–13 × 1.5–2 mm, crossed. Petals obliquely erect or recurved; stalk 4–6 mm long, greenish brown; blade elliptical to ovate, 5–7 × 4–6.5 mm, reddish on reverse. Labellum 4–5 mm long; lateral lobes 4–5 × 1.5–2 mm; midlobe convex, narrowly wedge-shaped when flattened, 4–5 × 3–4.5 mm, margins recurved, tip decurved. Callus ridge 1, 3–4 mm long, yellow surrounded by dark red.
