Characteristics

(From Fitzgerald’s plate) Leaf solitary, c. 90 × 3 mm, folded. Flower stem c. 500 mm long, 2–8-flowered, flowers all arranged on 1 side of raceme. Flowers c. 15 mm across, yellow to golden. Dorsal sepal reflexed, 8–10 × 6 mm, spotted. Lateral sepals deflexed, 30–40 × 1.5 mm. Petals spreading or obliquely erect; stalk 8–9 mm long, dark red-brown or purplish; blade ovate, 6–7 × 5 mm. Labellum c. 6 mm long; lateral lobes c. 2 × 0.6 mm; midlobe fan-shaped, c. 4 × 6 mm, ridged. Callus ridges 2, 2–3 mm long, divergent.
